Make Gold During Lunar New Year

The Guild Wars 2 Lunar New Year festival (often inaccurately called "Chinese New Year") is an excellent opportunity to make quick gold. Here's how:

1. Buy Divine Lucky Envelopes from the vendor

Buy Divine Lucky Envelopes. You can buy up to 17 Divine Lucky Envelopes per day.

You can buy up to 16 from Phaedra in Divinity's Reach for 1 gold each. You can also buy 1 per day from Sigurlina Jonsdottir in the Guild Hall for 1 Guild Commendation each.

2. Sell them on the Trading Post

As of this writing, Divine Lucky Envelopes could be sold instantly for 1 gold 51 silver. After the cost of the transaction, this still nets almost 50 silver per envelope.

Prices will fluctuate slightly throughout the event. Be sure to check the sale price before selling your Divine Lucky Envelopes.

3. Profit!

That's a quick and easy 8 gold per day. Do this every day during the Lunar New Year festival, and you will not regret it!
