The February 14, 2023 game update slipped in a big change. You can now click to randomize your character’s wardrobe and dyes.
Many people report the “Randomize Appearance” button does a surprisingly good job. That has not been my experience, to say the least. It’s a fun way to kill a few minutes while you wait for an event to start, though.
