There are a few specific ways to play GW2 Revenant well. But they are, shall we say, very niche. Overall, this is a complicated class, and we only recommend it for players who enjoy the idea of constantly juggling stances.
Best Revenant Builds
Revenant is an excellent support class for fractals and raids, and the Power Hammer Herald build is a welcome addition to any WVW squad. Power Herald is also apparently quite good in sPVP as a roaming class (I wouldn’t know).
For ideas on how best to play Revenant, we recommend the Snow Crows and MetaBattle builds, as these are carefully-tested and kept up to date with the current meta.
Revenant Elite Specializations
Herald: Legendary Dragon Stance is quite good.
Renegade: Legendary Renegade Stance is also pretty good, and Renegade can leverage more condition damage (“condi”) ability.
