Festival of the Four Winds: What’s Worth Doing?

Festival of the Four Winds is a GW2 summer festival which takes place in the Labyrinthine Cliffs map and in the Crown Pavilion in Divinity’s Reach. Both of these maps are only available during the festival. There are tons of fun activities and events you can try during this festival. Read on to learn which ones to prioritize if your time is limited.

Power Level Characters in Boss Blitz

Characters are leveled up to 80 in the Crown Pavilion. This means you can bring any character to the Boss Blitz. This is a fast way to quckly level a character while earning loot.

The Crown Pavilion in Divinity’s Reach is only open during Festival of the Four Winds. The main event is the Boss Blitz. This event is straightforward: Six bosses spawn, and have to be defeated. Each boss has a special ability. When a boss dies, their special ability is redistributed to the remaining bosses.

In theory, you want to coordinate with the map to defeat all the bosses at the same time. In practice, it never really works that way. Luckily, the power creep in recent years means this event rarely fails, although sometimes it takes longer than others.

Mine Quartz Crystals

The Labyrinthine Cliffs map has many Quartz Crystal nodes. If you’re in the habit of farming or buying these crystals, you’ll definitely want to visit this map daily during the festival.
